My job is special, in the daytime I have to take photos for products sold online. I am a professional photographer by trade. And I am a hobby quilter as well. In the past month, I was looking for a better way to mark my quilts in preparation for quilting. Occasionally, I saw one friend using a light pad. I thought it can be helpful for me, and therefore, I would like to have a try. My friend bought the Artograph 12-inch by 17-inch light box with nearly $200. It seems it is useful. But to be honest, I don’t like its design, especially the appearance. It looks thick and heavy. While the HuionA2 looks more elegant and beautiful with much lower price.

I got the package and it is the same as advertised even better. I am fond of using it for its stylish look and creative design in protecting eyesight with adjustable brightness.

A2 is big but thin. It has 26.8 inches in diagonally length with the slim thickness of 7.33mm. Compared to my friend’s light pad, it is much larger and slimmer. The point is it is light and portable.

In addition, A2 has super bright led lamps which make the surface bright. And there is a touch switch on the left top of the light pad. I can press the switch until I get the desirable light. Even in the dark place, I can see the fabric lines. It is amazing！

Another feature I am satisfied with is that it won’t produce much heat and after long hours working it performs normal. We all know that it is not good for electronic products produce much heat because it means the short life span.

The most considerate design of A2 I think is applied into eyesight-protected technology. A2 can be widely used among many people like designer, artist, teacher, office worker. I can draw happily without worrying about causing shortsightedness. And actually, the light is not shining and my eyes feel comfortable when starting the screen. It will not hurt my eyes.

A Good Tracing Board Replacement Called A3

I have a Huion L4S and my best friend has a Huion A3.He has a old light box before and it worked well at the beginning but recently the pad worked randomly and he couldn’t work satisfactory on his work. Therefore, he decided to find a new tracing pad to replace it.Since I have used for L4S for a short time and I think it is quite useful,thus I recommend Huion this brand to him. In addition, Huion A3 is a popular product on online stores and most customers who have used A3 say highly of the product. Besides, he was impressed with A3 when he saw the picture on the internet. Three days ago,he has received the package as expected and A3 is charming and elegant. He told me that he was satisfied with its appearance.And he said many good points, maybe he can be a salesman in the future.

Compared to his old light pad, A3 has so many advantages. One big difference between them is that A3 is much thinner and lighter. Its height is only 7mm and it weights only 2.3kg. And the working surface of 16 by 12 inches is big enough for me. It will be convenient for him to take the light pad outside.

Another advantage of A3 is the adjustable brightness. Instead of a press button, A3 has a touch switch which he can adjust the brightness by touching the switch until you get the light you comforted. What’s more, the maximum brightness reaches to 4050 Lux with the super bright LED lamps.

And the most considerate advantage he thinks is the eyesight-protected design. Since he is also a student majoring art as me and he usually spend most of him time in creation. That is, he has to stare the screen all the time which will cause him shortsightedness easily. This worry will be chased away with the usage of A3. In the past three days, he was busy with creating cartoon images for an animation company and thanks to A3 that he can finish the work successfully. He also said a surprising discovery that the light pad produce little heat after long time use.

To be honest,he really loves A3 light pad, but he said it will be much better if the cord can be longer.

GT-220 — The Multifunction Helper on my Work

I preordered a GT-220 one month ago with $100 off and several gifts like mini display cable, stylus, and pen nibs etc. Thanks Huion for its gifts and such a good pen tablet monitor. It helps me a lot in industrial design. Drawing on the computer with mouse is too slow and inconvenient. Since I have had my GT-220, I can not only design fast and conveniently but also used to sign documents sometimes. It is useful and I have to admit that there are more advantages than disadvantages.

Advantages

l         Wide screen design. GT-220 measures 21.5 inches in diagonally length. And the aspect ratio reaches to 16:9 which allows me to draw freely on the screen, it is good for creativity. Besides, compared to other types of pen tablet monitor, the viewing angle is relatively large reaches to 178°H and 178°V.

l         High definition. I don’t know exactly the specifications are, but I know that the visual effect is great. The panel is IPS. It just likes the HD TV at home with natural color and good picture quality. Therefore, I can enjoy a better visual experience during work. Besides, I noticed that there are several cables including VGA cable and HDMI cable which can ensure the quality if the picture.

l         2048 pen pressure sensitivity. The pen when I hold in my hand, it feels I am drawing on the paper. In addition, this is a rechargeable pen, and it can be used for a long time after two hours full charge. And the pen nib can be replaced with new nibs.

l         The adjustable stand. GT-220 is a flexible pen tablet monitor, which means that I can adjust the stand to find the most comfortable position for me to work. In my point of view, it is really a considerate design for those who always work before monitors like me.

Although there are lots of advantages, there still exist some minor problems.

l         Little dust underneath the display. Well, it cannot affect my work. Every time I have to ignore these dusts.

l         The interface is loose. It is unstable, and it has affected my work. Therefore, I asked for a replacement. What surprised me is that the new comer is much better than the previous one. And I noticed that the problems I mentioned above didn’t exist.

Several days ago I bought a Huion H610 Pro tablet from Amazon, and yesterday I got the parcel. When I open it and I shocked! In fact, I didn’t have high expectations of this product because I’ve never heard Huion this brand befre and I was a little worried about the quality for its low price. But now I have to say that I’ve made a good decision because this tablet is wonderful. I love it very much, and I am sure when you see it, you will love it. Here are the reasons that why I choose it:

1. The attractive design. H610 Pro has a suitable active area of 10'' x 6.25'' and I can draw freely with this tablet. The most attractive feature for me is that there are 8 hot keys on one side of the tablet which are convenient and practical for me. It is believed that it is well-made and solidly built.

2. Good quality. When I was searching on the Internet, at the beginning I was puzzled because I didn’t how to choose. And finally I found H610 Pro which is a new version of H610 model with a clean and slippery-proof texture of the tablet surface. And the picture draws in the tablet is clear and the pen is responsive.

3. Amazing price. Anyone who has bought and used H610 Pro will find that it is really worthy. And you will say just as I did: wow, it is really a bargain! And the price is incredible cheap! I have to admit that compared to other brands of tablet, Huion H610 Pro possesses good quality but lower price.

4. Battery free stylus.H610 Pro comes with a battery free stylus which is rechargeable. I was told that the pen can use for about 800 hours after two hours full charge. It is really last a long time! And I don’t need to charge it constantly.

By the way, H610 Pro can work well with my computer and the operating system is Windows 8.1. But the driver support is a little tedious and there is no CD supplied for an external install. Anyway thanks Huion for providing such a excellent product.
